Honeywell has introduced Honeywell Batch Historian, a software digitalization solution that offers manufacturers contextualized data history for reporting and analytics.
Honeywell introduced Honeywell Batch Historian, a software digitalization solution that provides manufacturers with contextualised data history for reporting and analytics, resulting in more efficient and cost-effective operations. The digitization of industrial operations helps Honeywell match its portfolio with the automation megatrend.
Manufacturers frequently face challenges while analysing data due to a lack of batch visualisation, making it difficult to expand data utilisation to sophisticated applications. Honeywell Batch Historian allows manufacturers to record data with context straight from batch engines, eliminating the need for complicated configurations. The new method relies on easy drag-and-drop tile configuration, reducing the need for specialised programming abilities or comprehensive history database knowledge to create reports.
Shawn Opatka, Vice President and General Manager, said “Honeywell’s full suite of digital manufacturing technologies will help manufacturers improve product quality, regulatory compliance, and overall efficiency in order to drive business outcomes,” of Life Sciences at Honeywell Process Solutions. “Our approach is modular and flexible, helping companies begin their digitalization journey by adopting new technologies as they need them.”Honeywell Batch Historian supports several industries including specialty chemicals, life sciences, food & beverage, pulp & paper, and mining, materials, and metals (MMM). By leveraging the software, manufacturers can enhance process efficiency and simplify troubleshooting, ultimately improving operational outcomes. The solution’s configuration for batch reporting simplifies the reporting and data analysis process, making it easier for operators to comply with strict industry reporting regulations.
Honeywell Batch Historian enables businesses to efficiently gather, analyse, and apply manufacturing data, allowing users to make educated decisions, optimise operations, and drive continuous facility improvement. The programme is a stand-alone solution that may be supplied as a module on the Manufacturing Excellence Platform (MXP) or as an integrated component of all Experion Batch systems.
