Indian crane market is growing at a steady speed. The estimated annual demand for industrial cranes in 2012 was about 20,000 cranes, and it should touch to 25,000 cranes by 2013. The future for crane sector looks promising due to the growth of manufacturing sector, infrastructure development and foreign direct investments in India, and these would be the main drivers for growth of industry as a whole. The demand for industrial cranes is expected to grow by 20 per cent over the next 5 years.
