Waaree Energies Ltd has inaugurated its advanced 5.4 GW solar cell gigafactory facility in Chikhli, Gujarat. The facility, spread across 150 acres, is a testament to India’s commitment to a sustainable energy future.

In a defining moment for India’s renewable energy sector, Waaree Energies Ltd, the nation’s leading clean energy transition company, celebrated the grand inauguration of its advanced 5.4 GW solar cell gigafactory facility in Chikhli, Gujarat.

The ceremony was graced by the Honourable Chief Minister of Gujarat, Bhupendrabhai Patel; Pralhad Joshi, the Honourable Minister of New and Renewable Energy; C. R. Paatil, Minister of Jal Shakti; senior ministers from Gujarat, including Kanubhai Desai, Minister of Finance, Energy & Petrochemicals; Balvantsinh Rajput, Minister of Industries, Civil Aviation, Labour & Employment; Harshbhai Sanghavi, Minister of State for Home, Sports & Youth; Mukeshbhai Patel, Minister of State for Environment, Climate Change & Water Resources; and P. P. Chaudhary, Member of Parliament and Chairperson – One Nation One Election.

Spread across 150 acres, with a built-up area of 101 acres, this facility stands as a testament to commitment to a sustainable energy future for the nation.
