Mitsubishi Electric India has recently launched a new range of sustainable and technologically advanced machine tools – the M800V and M80V series. These machines are equipped with unique features that increase productivity and contribute towards creating a sustainable industrial environment.
Mitsubishi Electric recently launched the M800V and M80V series of Computerised Numerical Controllers (CNCs) in India with advanced solutions to drive smart manufacturing. The company aims to promote development and provide better opportunities for the country. By incorporating IoT and Artificial Intelligence into manufacturing, Mitsubishi Electric contributes to the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The new product range incorporates innovative technologies that facilitate smart and advanced manufacturing in India.
CNCs are electro-mechanic devices that use computer programming in the Machine Tool industry. These devices are widely used for manufacturing processes and have positively impacted the industry. With its state-of-the-art CNC solutions, Mitsubishi Electric has always been at the forefront of innovation and technological advancements in India. In line with the post-pandemic era of remote access and control, the M800V and M80V feature the industry’s first CNC with built-in wireless LAN, enabling efficient work without time and space constraints.
The M800V and M80V control functions have been designed to perform various tasks quickly and accurately. This product range has the potential to reshape the machine tools industry and efficiently optimise manufacturing from the perspective of time and tasks. Mitsubishi Electric is committed to meeting manufacturers’ needs and technological advancements.
The new M800V and M80V series of CNCs offer a range of innovative features and advantages that make them stand out in the market. Here are some of the key features:
Increased fine segment processing capability and several control axes: The new M800V and M80V have improved hardware, including a dedicated CPU, significantly enhancing fine segment processing capability and machining program processing. The number of control axes has also been increased, enabling smooth control of more complex mechanisms.
Multi-touch operation and Improved Screen Design: The enhanced technology of the new M800V and M80V enables multi-touch features for smarter operations and high accuracy. The screen design and colors are optimised for readability, providing better visibility and increased work efficiency.
OMR-CC (Optimum machine response-contour control): The M800V and M80V series come with Optimum Machine Response-Contour Control (OMRCC), which reduces cycle time while maintaining machining accuracy. This enables the machining process to work faster and saves time due to control processing, automatically correcting programmed/actual position errors.
Two-dimensional barcode engraving cycle: The two-dimensional barcode engraved directly on the workpiece allows the automatic selection of programs and tools, which helps implement easy workpiece traceability.
Built-in wireless LAN: The M800V and M80V series introduces the industry’s first wireless LAN functionality, enabling machine engineers to operate remotely with a tablet connected. This improves work efficiency for machine tool operators, frees them from time and space constraints, and allows them to work remotely.
NC Machine Tool Optimiser: The M800V and M80V product range comes with an operation monitoring software called “NC Machine Tool Optimizer.” It visualises the status of various equipment in multiple factories and connects with various controllers on the shop floor. It can monitor and analyse equipment operation in multiple factories, helping increase productivity. Automatic email notifications are sent upon occurrence of an alarm and alarm diagnostics, in addition to the built-in remote service gateway unit functionality in the NC control unit, reducing machine downtime
