Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing is imperative to the growth of manufacturing, and Industry 5.0 is still a little distant, though we are moving towards it.
IMTEX will provide first-hand exposure of the significant technological developments
IMTEX is a Premier Machine Tool exhibition on an International scale being organised at BIEC- Bangalore. It is a flagship event for the Indian metal-cutting industry. More importantly, almost all the major Machine Tool manufacturers worldwide will showcase their star machine tools, incorporating advanced technologies in vogue today. This apart, we have the Tool Tech and Digital Manufacturing running simultaneously. Apart from showcasing our technological development through our machine tools, we will also get first- hand exposure to the significant technological developments in Machine Tools worldwide.
New trends in the machine tool world will be on display
This mega event displays the latest technological developments in machine tool manufacturing deployed by domestic and international manufacturers. The event will undoubtedly provide a glimpse of the new trends in the machine tool world. As part of the exhibits, we will also get to see the latest update on automation, additive manufacturing, hybrid machining, and multi-tasking machines.
Venturing into laser cutting, sheet metal and 3-D printing
Ace Micromatic group has always been supporting IMTMA for this event. Besides investing and strengthening our R &D, updating technology and developing newer products, we have ventured into laser cutting, sheet metal and 3-D printing in the last three years.
The next financial year, 2023- 24, looks promising for domestic and export markets. With Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi’s sharp focus on Atmanirbhar Bharat and Self-reliant India, we expect a lot of manufacturing to shift to India in the coming days.
PLI to promote manufacturing
Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme for Promoting manufacturing in the country is giving an additional advantage to the industry. Electronics and mobile manufacturing will gain momentum in India, benefiting our machine Tool industry to support their manufacturing plans. Additive machines will solve the problem of making critical component requirements.
The country is moving to Industry 5.0
While the Indian manufacturing industry is almost midway into the fourth Industrial Revolution, named Industry 4.0, we must accept that digital manufacturing is here to stay. Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing is imperative to the growth of our industry. We do not have a choice not to consider the same. Industry 5.0 is still a little distant, although we are moving towards it.
