Field Assistant R2.05 to enhance field inspection

On 23^rd November 2020, Yokogawa Electric Corporation announced that it has enhanced the Field Assistant software for the field inspections of industrial facilities, which is being released as on today as Field Assistant R2.05.　It is a solution in Yokogawa’s OpreX^TM Operational Risk Management family. When the software is installed on mobiles, it allows the user in the field to access checklists, manuals, and many other kinds of documents, thus enhancing the quality and efficiency of routine patrols of manufacturing sites. Though versions which were launched earlier of this software ran only on Android phones and tablets, this latest release now supports varied platforms such as, Windows tablets and the hands-free RealWearhead-mounted computers. New Features will includes, Hands-free operation with RealWearhead-mounted computers. Using the hands-free device, field service personnel can issue voice commands to the Field Assistant software, for example, input work results and look up information. Also it will now support for use on Windows tablets. So now customers can freely use this software on whichever mobile device best meets their application requirements.
