pL Lehmann, a renowned Swiss pioneer, has launched its ‘series 500’ of a completely newly conceived generation of rotary tables with a gear unit. The elegant designs and consistent improvement in modular constructions of rotary tables have not only become up to 30 per cent more cost effective, but are also more efficient and more flexible in various ways.
This 500 series has four basic models viz. 507, 510, 520 & 530 with peak heights from 110 mm to 240 mm. They have innovated 170 different variants and combinations of models from the simple one spindle 4th axis right up to a 4-spindle turntable layout with 4th and 5th axis from these basic four models. The highly flexible modular construction of rotary tables also allows to be modified with new technical value in order to process new tasks. Hence, customer can get advantage of renewing the rotary tables rather buying a new one. The most interesting thing comes here that the modules of the 500 series can be assembled into various combinations by representatives, machine retailers or customer themselves which saves cost and time.
All rotary table models are rust resistant and fully sealed in accordance with IP67 which prevents damages to the inner parts. The 500 series is more attractive due to quick positioning time which helps in reducing manufacturing time and therefore increases productivity. Moreover, 45-55 per cent less weight and 35-65 per cent less floor space of rotary tables have added to more cost effectiveness and efficiency as compared to competitors.
