Eaton’s Hybrid technology [Feb 2012]

Diversified power management solutions provider Eaton Corporation displayed its capabilities and offerings to the commercial vehicle, off-highway and passenger car segments at Auto Expo 2012. Major OEMs, technology companies, component manufacturers and Industry leaders visited the Eaton stall and engaged in focused interactions with Eaton representatives. The highlight of Eaton’s stall at the expo was the display of Eaton’s Hybrid technology. Eaton is a global leader in design, development and manufacturing of hybrid systems for commercial vehicles. To create a hybrid commercial vehicle, Eaton combines a vehicle’s traditional internal combustion engine with an electric motor or a hydraulic launch assist system to move the vehicle forward and then through regenerative braking the system recharges itself.
