Yokogawa releases OpreX Carbon Footprint Tracer to support decarbonization

OpreX Carbon Footprint Tracer is a cloud service that calculates CO2 emissions based on measurement data and other main information acquired from instrumentation systems, power monitors, and the OpreXTM Transformation portfolio, which addresses enterprises’ carbon footprint requirements.
Yokogawa Electric Corporation imposed the development and delivery of OpreX Carbon Footprint Tracer, a solution in the OpreXTM Transformation portfolio that addresses the carbon footprint management requirements of organizations in the process manufacturing industries.
OpreX Carbon Footprint Tracer is a cloud service that calculates CO2 emissions using measurement data and other primary information gathered from instrumentation systems, power monitors, and other systems, as well as a consultation service that assists in the development of CO2 emission-reduction strategies. This is a comprehensive solution for the process manufacturing industries, allowing for visual analysis and reduction of CO2 emissions.This service seamlessly integrates with the SAP® Sustainability Footprint control service and SAP ERP systems to calculate CO2 emissions, allowing for the display and control of product carbon footprint (PCF) based on European standards. The support for European standards and integration with the SAP Sustainability Footprint Management service is a world first, enabling enterprises in the process manufacturing industries to view and manage their PCF.
