Schneider Electric named Anshum Jain vice president of global supply chain

Schneider Electric has appointed Anshum Jain as the Vice President of Global Supply Chain in India. Jain will be responsible for driving the success of the country’s Global Supply Chain vertical and establishing synergistic supply chain capabilities.
Schneider Electric, a leader in the digital revolution of energy management and automation, has appointed Anshum Jain as Vice President of Global Supply Chain in India. Anshum’s obligation will be to drive the success of the country’s Global Supply Chain vertical while also establishing synergistic supply chain capabilities in India. He will be a member of a supply chain council, which will focus on developing a robust supply chain ecosystem in the country to match the growth objectives of local and international markets.
An alumnus of NIT Nagpur, Anshum studied mechanical engineering, and later obtained his Master’s in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, as well as a Master’s in Business Administration from Wayne State University. With 27 years of domestic and international experience in managing all aspects of manufacturing, operations, and supply chain, he has navigated the complexities of global operations, international markets, and diverse business environments. Before joining Schneider Electric, Anshum held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Daimler India Commercial Vehicles. His prior roles include positions at esteemed organizations such as Bosch (India), Cummins (US), MTU Detroit Diesel (US), and Terex (India). Additionally, he served as the COO for seven years at John Deere (India).
