New plant for cleaning products

Freudenberg Gala Household Product, a joint venture of Freudenberg Household Products (Germany) and Gala Brush (India), opens a manufacturing plant at Adas in Gujarat. The plant will produce mechanical household cleaning products. Products for daily domestic use and for the professional cleaning sector are produced and marketed under the Gala brand. According to a company release, Freudenberg is targeting market leadership in the growing market for mechanical and household cleaning markets estimated at ` 870 crore and growing significantly up to 20 per cent year on year in the urban areas.
