Kladana has updated its Warehouse Management System (WMS) to improve the efficiency of physical stock and warehouse operations for small and medium-sized businesses.
Kladana has released a major update to its built-in Warehouse Management System (WMS). This module in Kladana ERP is designed to streamline the management of physical stock and warehouse operations for small and medium-sized businesses. The update enhances the efficiency of receiving, picking sales orders, shipping, transferring, and conducting inventory counts, thereby improving inventory and sales management.
Kladana WMS is useful for businesses facing challenges with stock control, unsure of their exact inventory, storage locations, or whether stock units have relevant barcodes. Kladana WMS streamlines end-to-end warehouse operations, allowing MSMEs to seamlessly manage all processes on a single platform. This unified interface eliminates the need to switch between multiple software tools, offering businesses better control and organisation from one place.
Key Benefits of the WMS:
Inclusive for Kladana users: The WMS module is available at no extra cost for Kladana users with paid plans, included with the current subscription. No integration or complex setup required, saving businesses money.
Seamless Usage: Manage stock, warehouse operations, sales, manufacturing, and more within a single software application. With Kladana ERP’s integrated modules, you can eliminate the need to switch between multiple tools, boosting efficiency and reducing manual processes.
Improved Inventory Accuracy: Track stock levels, locations, and movements in real-time to minimize discrepancies and ensure accurate order picking. Enhanced inventory visibility improves confidence in order fulfilment and stock management.
Key Updates:Address Storage: Companies can now count stock by locations and storage bins, improving stock management for businesses with large or complex inventories. Bins are uniquely identified by location (zone, row, and rack) and name, speeding up order picking, packing, and tracking while reducing search times.
Barcode scanning: Items, packaging, bundles, and storage bins can now be barcoded, increasing warehouse efficiency and minimising human errors. Scanning directly from the warehouse floor ensures accurate, up-to-date inventory records.
Enhanced Reporting: Timely and accurate updates and reports on stock levels, warehouse operations, and stock movements enable informed decision-making. Kladana’s advanced reporting tools provide insights into process effectiveness and inventory behaviour.
The Director of Kladana in India, Aleksandra Brovchuk, said, “Indian MSMEs and D2C brands often struggle with inventory accuracy and warehouse space management. With our recent WMS update, we aim to help businesses manage inventory more efficiently by improving warehouse management. Features like real-time stock visibility, bin storage, barcode scanning, and partial inventory counts by location will reduce errors, optimise order picking, and enhance operational efficiency. Ultimately, this update supports SMEs in staying organised and responsive to market demands with a single integrated platform.”
Kladana’s new WMS addresses inventory management uncertainty and time-consuming counts by using warehouse locations and storage bins for clearer tracking, improving operational efficiency, and simplifying processes.
