Groupe Cahors opens manufacturing plant near Pune

French conglomerates Groupe Cahors inaugurated its new manufacturing facility for their Indian group companies – Transfix India and Tek Components, at Ranjangaon MIDC, near Pune. The 1 lacs sq. ft. facility has been set up with an investment of Rs. 35 crore, which brings the total investment by the group in India to Rs. 60 crore. This facility will house the production facilities and all necessary supporting activities including R&D, sales, marketing and quality management.
TRANSFIX manufactures a wide range of oil-immersed transformers with power ratings between 50 and 2,500 kVA up to 33kV. These transformers are 30 per cent more compact in size than conventional products and are maintenance free. World over TEK Components is a renown specialist in telecommunications technology, designing and manufacturing a full range of connectors and associated equipment.
