Detroit Engineered Products (DEP), an engineering solutions and product development company, and creator of the CAE platform, DEP MeshWorks announced a strategic partnership with the ‘Design & Engineering’ (formerly MSC Software) business unit of Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence India Pvt Ltd. (HMII). Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence is a renowned global pioneer in simulation software, offering powerful tools that enhance engineering methods and drive innovation in product manufacturing.

Under this new partnership, HMII will support the expansion of DEP’s groundbreaking CAE platform, DEP MeshWorks, in India. MeshWorks is distinguished by its advanced capabilities such as highly efficient CAE meshing & model assembly tools that cut down model build time drastically,  Morphing & Parametric CAE technology for fast design iterations & optimization, Concept CAE modelling with Zero CAD, Process automation that provides 2X to 5X CAE workflow time reduction and much more. This suite of features empowers engineers to tremendously accelerate CAE workflow time, optimize products to meet/exceed performance & reduce cost & weight – all this with significantly reduced software investment cost.
