The Altair and Excellence in Advanced Automotive Research (CAAR) partnership will explore the future of electric vehicles, self-driving cars, and green automobiles, shorten industry timetables, and put India at the forefront of car innovation.
Altair and the Centre of Excellence in Advanced Automotive Research (CAAR) have signed an MoU to promote collaboration and innovation in the automotive sector. The partnership will explore the future of electric vehicles (EVs), self-driving cars, and green automobiles, help shorten industry timetables, and put India at the forefront of car innovation.
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras provided valuable consultancy and support in establishing the CAAR. CAAR fosters human capital growth, offers policy recommendations, and provides top-tier facilities and technologies for automakers through translational research, linking academic concepts with practical application in industries.Thiru Srinivasan, CEO of CAAR, said, “This alliance will enhance the development of Altair’s software tools, facilitating the rapid creation of high-value automotive products.”
