The resulting demand is thanks to factors like newer technologies that have outgrown older machines and their capabilities, industries investing in house cutting machines and therefore the support from industry bodies who view laser cutting as an effective method for little to large scale projects. High power laser cutting continues to advance year after year. The high-power laser machines increase performance and throughput while also offering thicker cutting ranges, increased cutting speeds and improved parts edge quality. Improving edge quality has been attention since the introduction of fibre lasers.
