Lack of integration holding back automation

The Indian manufacturing sector is still at a nascent stage with regards to the current levels of adoption of manufacturing solutions and adhering to automation.
According to industry report, India’s industrial automation industry is expected to reach Rs 19,700 crore by 2020. At present the automation industry has several challenges due to lack of integration which has impacted operational excellence improvements, feels Sanat Vajpai, Director – OEM Business, Schneider Electric India.
