Musashi India appoints Naoya Nishimura as CEO

Musashi India is dedicated to promoting eco-friendly mobility and technological advancements in the automotive industry. Musashi India intends to play an important role in India’s electric vehicle market by providing high-performance EV drive units and aiding the country’s transition to cleaner transportation.

Musashi Auto Parts India Pvt Ltd (Musashi), a wholly owned subsidiary of Musashi Seimitsu Industries in Japan and a renowned manufacturer of two- and four-wheeler transmission components in India, has named Naoya Nishimura as its Chief Executive Officer. The move demonstrates Musashi’s commitment to strengthening its leadership team and its focus on the Indian market.

Nishimura has been with Musashi for over two decades and has worked in numerous international markets, including Japan and North America. He has also worked at Musashi in a variety of roles, including operations, new client acquisition, R&D, and business planning. With his exceptional leadership and significant history in R&D, electrification, and company expansion, he adds a new perspective to Musashi India’s aim of changing the auto industry with high-quality products. In his new post, Nishimura will aim to increase Musashi’s EV product penetration in the India and Africa markets.

Previously Naoya Nishimura was the global Chief R&D Officer at Musashi.
