Seven decades ago, the company pioneered the production of the first four-wheel electric truck. Additionally, within the next year, the company intends to install solar panels, aiming to operate its facility entirely on a renewable energy framework. Demonstrating its commitment to environmental conservation, the company plants a tree for every piece of equipment sold, contributing to preserving and enhancing the natural ecosystem. Manojit Acharya informs, “Another major thing that we do in the direction of environmental sustainability is recycling all our old equipment. We refurbish our equipment from our rather successful rental market and resell them. This is a huge step towards reducing our carbon footprint and saves many resources which would otherwise have ended up as scrap or waste. He says, “This is an extremely environmentally friendly option because reconditioning used equipment saves about 80 percent CO2 compared to new production.”
