AMF Zero- Point- Systems are used to set-up-time reduction of CNC metal cutting fixtures, chucks, vices, dies/moulds and workpieces etc. More than 90 percent of set up time can be reduced by using Zero Point Systems in place of conventional set up changes. Changeover of fixtures is can be done within few minutes, once the Module is opened, the pneumatic ally with 5 bar or hydraulically with 50 bar (in case of hydraulic versions) and mechanically self-locked.Locating and clamping in one step. The ball mechanism makes the system very flexible, simple and frictionless sliding of parts increase life of modules tremendously.
High holding/ Clamping forces due to multiple balls. The clamping module connections can be disconnected once clamping is done. Blow out is in built and standard option for all modules to prevent heavy chips falling on modules. Mechanical clamping and de-clamping modules also available. Applications of using AMF – ZPS are numerous.
