Dhaksha speeds up autonomous drone development with the 3DEXPERIENCE platform

Dassault Systèmes has chosen the 3DEXPERIENCE platform by Dhaksha Unmanned Systems (Dhaksha) to upscale the development of next-generation autonomous and semi-autonomous drones.

Dassault Systèmes disclosed that Dhaksha Unmanned Systems (Dhaksha), a major Indian inventor in unmanned aerial systems (UAS) technology, has chosen Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform to speed up the development of next-generation autonomous and semi-autonomous drones.

Dhaksha utilises the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, which includes SIMULIA software tools, to design and develop a wide range of UAS systems for agriculture, defence, surveillance, and delivery applications. The platform promotes collaboration through fast design workflows, revision management, and real-time access to the most recent design data. Dhaksha is using the combined skills of modelling and simulation by deploying the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.

The integration of modelling and simulation can significantly reduce the time and cost of physical prototyping, allowing engineers to experience their designs virtually, enabling concurrent performance checks and refinements. This approach fosters collaboration across disciplines and regions, breaking down silos. The 3DEXPERIENCE platform, with its SIMULIA software applications, facilitates thorough analysis and optimisation of drone performance, enhancing functionality and efficiency. Collaborative design workflows and centralised data management boost team productivity and resource utilisation.
