Schneider Electric introduces new VP of Industrial Automation unit

Schneider Electric has appointed Arvind Kakru as its new Vice President of Industrial Automation for the Greater India Zone. With more than 28 years of expertise, Kakru will be in charge of the company’s Industrial Automation, Process Automation, and Controls & Automation divisions.
Schneider Electric, the global leader in digital energy management and next-generation automation, has named Arvind Kakru as Vice President of Industrial Automation for the Greater India Zone.
Arvind has over 28 years of experience and has consistently proven good budgetary, strategic, and operational leadership. He will oversee Schneider Electric’s Industrial Automation, Process Automation, and Controls & Automation businesses, collaborating closely with Line of Business leaders, the Commercial & Strategic Segments team, and the International Operations Teams. He will be responsible for increasing market share and developing new growth prospects.

Before joining Schneider Electric, Arvind held key positions at prestigious companies such as Rockwell Automation and GE. He has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from NIT Durgapur. At Schneider Electric, he will be based in Gurgaon and report directly to Deepak Sharma, Zone President- Greater India, MD & CEO, Schneider Electric India, as well as a member of the India Management Team.
