How does Dosatron ensure the accuracy and reliability of its dosing pumps across various applications?

Dosatron products’ accuracy and reliability across all applications rely on two main drivers :

A quality product, reliable and long-lasting: Dosatron has pioneered the water-driven dosing pump concept. The current product ranges from 50 years of experience across the world in several markets and applications. We keep on investing in product optimisation and innovation to remain the leader in this technology. Tailored features and options address each market’s specificities to further improve the product dosing performances (body material, seal grades, dosing range, flow range, kits for viscous fluids etc…).

Partners network: Dosatron works closely with all its partners worldwide, sharing all product information and application best practices. Buying a pump from a Dosatron partner is a guarantee of being advised of the adequate pump for a specific application and thus ensures high performance.

The dosage is accurate due to the intrinsic proportionality of our technology despite the variations in water flow and pressure. Due to the different seals and plastics, all kinds of chemicals can be dosed. Our viscous kit permits to dose of chemicals with high viscosity. Respecting the change of the dosing seals kit once a year will ensure the accuracy of the dosage year after year.

What recent technological innovations have Dosatron integrated to enhance pump performance?

Dosatron recently released 2 new products to address specific market needs. One is the D3 Industry Line which includes an internal feature to further improve the soluble oil emulsion. While the usual accuracy of Dosatron remains unchanged, this contributes to emulsion stability thus resulting in proper lubrication of the machined interface and chip evacuation

Another is the D3 Temperature, which is equipped with high-tech material allowing reaching temperatures up to 70°. This covers particular markets like car wash or agro-food hygiene.

Dosatron is included in the Industry Line, dedicated to soluble oil application, an emulsion washer which increases the homogeneity and emulsion directly at the outlet of the pump. Our  D3IL10 is equipped with a long suction hose of 2.75m, which permits us to use it with IBC. The latest innovation of DOSATRON is to develop a pump able to work with water T°C up to 70°C. 

How is Dosatron maintaining sustainability in its manufacturing processes?

For the past decade, Dosatron has designed for sustainability and implemented lifecycle assessment in the product development process. Serviceability is a main focus, and Dosatron has achieved ISO 14001 certification. Even though every Dosatron product is simple to operate and maintain, new product design is now subjected to serviceability rate targets, so all users can easily and cost-effectively enhance the lifespan of their units, making Dosatron a sustainable investment. Maintenance processes are documented through several user-friendly videos available on usual social networks.

The full company is also committed to continuously improving C02 emission, and energy consumption and implementing frugal manufacturing processes.

How is Dosatron using digitalisation and smart technologies to improve product functionality and customer satisfaction?

Some years ago, Dosatron made the first step into IoT or connected products by launching a product for the Animal Health market, the Dosatron SD25AL5NVF. This product includes a dosing pump equipped with sensors as well as software to process all generated data. In particular, this product allows monitoring, recording and securing of all data related to animal treatment (Vaccination, medication, supplementation etc…), contributing to adequate decision-making in the animal’s management and keeping records of it for later analysis.

Other products might be developed for other markets as Dosatron identifies needs and adds value for end users.
