Commenting on the landmark occasion, Dinesh Parwanda, said, “The journey of 25 years has been challenging. It all began with making a joint venture partnership in year 1993. Initially the team had put a lot of hard work to establish brand Phoenix Contact. After a slow beginning the turnover took off from the year 2006 and there was no looking back. We continuously invested in machinery, manpower and infrastructure. Today, approximately directly and indirectly 1,200 people work for Phoenix Contact. With expansion in factory at Prithla in Haryana, we plan to double our capacity. From the day one ‘Make in India’ was our strategic direction to ensure that high quality Phoenix Contact products are available to Indian customers.”
He further adds, “Customer first is our philosophy. We continuously monitor our performance for quality and service level. A strong sales team and distribution network ensures that we are present in all nook and corner of country and offer customers the pre-sales and post-sales service of highest level. We pay special attention to our employees and 20 per cent improvement in GPTW (Great Place To work) Survey is testament to our commitment.”
Committed to Indian market
Frank Stuehrenberg, comments, “The year 2017 was a special year for Phoenix Contact as we achieved more than 2 billion Euro turnover for the first time. Even at this size Phoenix Contact still retains its status of family-owned and financially independent company. Today, Phoenix Contact is truly global company, having subsidiary in 55 countries. Our guiding principle is ‘Think Global, Act Local’.”
