Schaeffler to showcase future-ready motion tech at Hannover Messe 2025
By Staff Report February 24, 2025 1:01 pm IST
The company’s technologies will be on display at Booth D18 in Hall 5 from March 31 to April 4, 2025. There will be a press briefing on Monday, March 31, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. Schaeffler will also have a booth (E41/1) in Hall 13, where the spotlight is on solutions for the production and use of hydrogen.
At Hannover Messe 2025, Motion Technology Company Schaeffler will present its new extended product range and capabilities in Germany for the first time. It will be the company’s first appearance at a leading industrial fair following its successful merger with Vitesco Technologies in October 2024. Motion is the core aspect that unites all the company’s products and services. The focus of the exhibit will therefore be on the expanded portfolio – subdivided into eight “product families” – that has resulted from the merger. These cover all areas of motion – from drive technology to energy generation and sustainable service solutions.
Uwe Wagner, Chief Technology Officer of Schaeffler AG, explains: “As a leading motion technology company, we at Schaeffler demonstrate at the Hannover Messe how we consolidate synergies and create added value for our customers with an integrated product and service portfolio across four divisions. Based on our eight product families, we are able to serve numerous market sectors in the industry and sustainably transform them with future technologies, such as components for humanoids.”

Product innovations for the industry of the future
In Hannover, Schaeffler will present the innovative XZU angular contact needle roller bearing for lightweight robots and cobots. It offers a compact design, high efficiency and low weight, and was nominated for the fair’s HERMES AWARD thanks to its outstanding properties. Schaeffler will also be presenting the TorqueSense torque sensor, which enables precise contactless measurement of torque in industrial drive trains thanks to its high resolution and linearity. As a result, for example, construction or agricultural machinery can be precisely monitored and controlled, or industrial machinery can be equipped with overload protection.
Schaeffler sees a particularly high potential in technologies for humanoids, which represent a logical further development of robotics. The company considers itself in a position to offer key components – including bearings, gearbox components, sensors, actuators and electric motors – for this cutting-edge technology and to optimize humanoid robots with technologically significant advances.

Dr. Jochen Schröder, Regional CEO Europe of Schaeffler AG, says: “At Hannover Messe, Schaeffler will once again showcase its innovative strength and pioneering spirit in the field of future technologies. Our goal is to develop products that make motion smarter, cleaner and safer. The basis for this is the strong development expertise that has set us apart for decades. The eight product families reinforce this expertise and allow us to tap into new business segments.”
