Dr. Nagahanumaiah, the Director of the Central Manufacturing Technology Institute, is an experienced Research Scientist and accomplished Operations Executive. He has been instrumental in reshaping CMTI’s mission as a technology developer, bringing his three decades of professional expertise in the manufacturing sector. Holding a Ph.D. from IIT Bombay and a Masters in Tool Engineering from the Indo-Danish Tool Room, his research spans various areas such as micro-nano scale manufacturing and modular-reconfigurable machines. Dr. Nagahanumaiah pioneered ‘Micro-Nano Systems Engineering’ at CSIR-CMERI and holds nine patents, published 108 research articles.
