India’s largest industrial trade fair attracted more than 6,000 visitors

With the first ever event in the North, Industrial Trade Fairs of Hannover made a mark in the city with 6,174 business visitors during the 4 days of its five-concurrent shows held in November 2012. The number of exhibitors have exceeded to 8 per cent in comparison with the last year. Out of the same, the event has a combination of 60 per cent Indian exhibitors and 40 per cent international companies. The fair is expected to convert transactional business of more than 400 crore for the exhibitors. Owing to the success witnessed in Delhi NCR, the next edition will be organised from December 17 th-20th 2013 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
The show hosted more than 4,000 products on display including the latest technologies from Germany, Italy, China, Taiwan, and Korea. The Industrial Trade Fairs of Hannover was the sought-after B2B event covering the manufacturing, automation, materials handling, surface technology and laser technology.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by Ranajit Pratap Naraine Singh, Minister of State (Home Affairs), Jose B. Schulz, Minister Counsellor, Head of Economic and Commercial Division, Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, Deepak Sareen, Executive Director, Electronics and Computer Software Export Council (ESC).
The premier edition of the International Purchase Managers’ Summit – India 2012, saw more than 150 industrial Purchase managers understanding the trends of purchasing internationally. B. Narayan, Group President, Reliance Industries Ltd., inaugurated the event and was also awarded as “Distinguished International Purchasing Professional Award”. Live demonstration of E-procurement solutions was also a part of the summit to provide the complete experience to the delegates attending the summit.
