Voith to deliver couplers for Jaipur Metro [June 2012]

Voith, a global provider of leading-edge technology and industrial services, announced that it will deliver couplers for the Jaipur Metro. As part of its efforts to offer indigenous products to meet local requirements the Semi Permanent Couplers are being produced and assembled for the first time at Voith Turbo India. Voith will deliver 20 automatic front couplers for the Jaipur Metro. In addition, it will also provide 20 intermediate auto and 40 semi-permanent couplers. Earlier, the company has provided technology solutions for the Delhi Metro.
