Blue Star to set up manufacturing facility in Ahmedabad [Jan 2012]

Blue Star plans to set up a factory to manufacture refrigeration products such as deep freezers, bottle coolers, milk coolers and water coolers at Changodar in Ahmedabad. The company currently manufactures refrigeration products in its plant at Bharuch in Gujarat which was set up about three decades ago and this 15,000 sqm plant at Ahmedabad will augment the current production capacity of these products significantly. Blue Star to invest Rs.15 crore in this plant and expects to begin manufacturing by the end of this financial year.
