Precision surface grinding machines
Alex offers a comprehensive range of surface grinding machines from the reciprocating hydraulically operated surface grinder to high power Rotary surface grinder to precision double disk grinding to special purpose grinding solutions. This range includes a wide variety of sophistication including computer numerical controls, automatic in-process gauging and other material handling automation, depending on the customer need and application.
We produce a full line of precision surface grinding machines and are the leaders in India in surface grinding technology. Our product line comprises a wide array of machine types: Surface and Profile grinders (NH/BW/CF), Reciprocating surface grinder with vertical spindle (NV), Rotary surface grinder with vertical spindle (RV), Rotary surface grinder with horizontal spindle (RH), Duplex grinder with horizontal spindle (DDH), Duplex grinder with vertical spindle (DDV).
Surface & profile grinders (nh/bw/cf): In our NH family we have separated all movements in X, Y and Z direction. Our objective is to attain a precision of 90° ±0 in all 3 axes and to preserve this precision at all times. This provides superior stability even at extreme ends of working range.
BW series: The BW family of machines distinguishes itself by its heavy duty construction and large working area, higher table loads and high rates of metal removal.
CF series: This machine focus is on individual production solutions. All 3 axes X, Y and Z are powered by servomotors and drives through precision ball screws. All guide ways are of precision Vee and Flat construction lined with turcite material. Feed rates start from a few millimeters to a very wide range on the upper end. Rapid feed in all directions is also available. Coolant system consists of multiple nozzles placed adequately depending on the nature of the component. The coolant flow is effected with adequate pressure up to a maximum of 15 bar. The grinding area is fully enclosed within a stationary guard. Coolant mist exhauster may be provided as necessary.
