Yaskawa Opens a New Robotics Technology Center in Istanbul, Turkey

Following a series of new building and factory openings during the last years, Japanese technology group Yaskawa has now opened its new Robotics Technology Center in Istanbul. Yaskawa has founded Yaskawa Turkey Electicity and Trade Limited Company and since then grew from 2 employees to today 55 employees.
At the official opening ceremony on 16 September a total of 10 representatives of the Yaskawa management and Automation association cut the ribbon to inaugurate Yaskawa Turkey Robotics Technology facility. The approx. 200 invited guests included Hasan Basri Kayakiran, President of the Board ENOSAD (Industrial Automation Manufacturers Association) from Turkey and Yaskawa representatives from all over Europe.
The ceremony was opened with various speeches of Yaskawa EMEA senior management team, followed by the opening ceremony and ribbon cutting. The opening continued with surprise shows by the Japanese drum team and a traditional Turkish team, continued with demonstrations of industrial robot demos, software solutions and motion control demos specially developed for different applications.
