We spoke to Ashish Rajput, Product Manager – Power Supplies for Industrial Automation at Delta Electronics India to know what makes Delta a market leader in Power Supply. 

What makes Delta a frontrunner in power supply solutions? 

Delta is a global leader in Power Supply solutions and it is a position that we have held for quite some time now. The key to this is our range of solutions which is incomparable. We have some of the most dedicated R&D in this sector which has helped create some of the most advanced technology. Our range includes low-cost, mid-range and high-end products i.e. we have solutions for everyone. We have all the necessary approvals including a marine approval for submarines. Our Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) is higher. Most importantly, we cater to the demands of the market. It is little wonder that Delta Power Supply is used everywhere, across industry, in medical centers and even in homes. What is Delta’s portfolio for power supply? 

Delta has a complete range of Power Supply that works across industries. Besides Industrial Power Supply, Delta has components for Medical Power Supply as well. How do delta products combat the challenges of power supply faced by the industry? 

Delta products convert, serve, and protect machines. Our products are designed according to the market. We have products operating from 5 volt to 24 volt to 48 volt. They also operate on a higher and lower range of temperature than the industry norm. How did Delta’s medical power supply serve during the pandemic? 

The Pandemic has been a testing period for the medical sector. Demand has galloped for both manufacturers and medical service providers. Hospitals have been required to expand their facilities. Delta’s has been a highly trusted partner in the medical sector during this period. Our Medical grade Power Supply has been used for many medical devices including the much in demand ventilators and various types of X-Ray machines. We also catered for oxygen concentrators which required customization in wattage. Our Power Supply solutions were also part of the successful creation of more cost-effective ventilators. Delta continues to innovate and partner with innovators in this sector to combat the challenges posed by this new normal.
